配气定时在正常情况下不需要进行调整，当机组各缸工作状态出现异常时，应首先检查指针上止点指示位置是否正确，检查传动系统各齿轮传动记号是否对准，整个系统的装配关系及气门间隙是否正确。若经检查调整后，仍与规定值差异较大时，则应考虑凸轮轴或齿轮传动件有无损坏现象，必要时进行修复或更换。
